Molten Sterling Silver Garnet Ring

A spoon turned ring in a very unexpected way!

This one of a kind ring began its life as a vintage 1920s Towle sterling silver spoon. I cut apart the bowl of the spoon and instead of simply bending it into a ring I melted the sterling down piece by piece. Fused and hammered into a unique piece of jewelry.
